How To Convert an Excel File into a Draft File

https://allyplm.com/2013/07/2013730excel-file-into-draft-file/

1. On the command bar under the sketching tab, select insert object.

2.In the dialog box, uncheck the link box. If the box is left checked then the draft file and excel file will remain associative. (i.e. any changes made to draft will change excel and vise versa).

3. Place the excel document in the draft file.

4. Double click on the excel document to edit it.

5.Enter information into the excel spreadsheet and close out of excel when finished.

6. If you open the original document that was placed into the draft file, no changes should be made just like if you drag and dropped it into the draft file.
